Fiddling with the lightning gun vs. the dummies in the Hub. Zapped the boxes in the corner... my first Legendary Weapon Drop*!

Is that wild luck or does a Legendary Weapon drop from those boxes in the hub normally?

I should say that you were extremely lucky! Grats! Usually a legendary medkit drops from destructible objects but that also has a pretty low chance.
