Program can't start, saying "MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program...." This is on a 2 month old Windows 7 x64 computer.

The missing DLL is a Microsoft visual studio file. That exact file is in the Windows\system32 folder, but this is a 64 bit game so it should be looking for the 64 bit version and it should be in the Windows\SysWow64 folder and it's not. I don't want to copy and paste the 32 bit dll manually as well, it doesn't seem like a smart idea.

So I went to Microsoft.com and searched on the error and got a link to the VC++ redistributable for studio 2012 update 4 (http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679) and ran that installer and it did NOT put the dll into the SysWow64 folder.

I also tried reinstalling.

Only thing slightly different I did during the installation is select D:\Games\Victor Vran as my install directory as my C drive is a small system SSD.

Help appreciated!

I was very puzzled by your terse response but after looking at the game info again I realized it recommended a 64 bit system but was a 32 bit game. I did try an install of the x86 file using the search in the linked comment, however that didn't work.

What did work was downloading it from here:

I am having the exact same problem on one of my three machines that just happens to have an SSD. I will try the link above and see if it fixed it for me.

**UPDATE**

I installed both of the C++ packages and now the install and game both work fine.

Eh, you had already figured out the correct VC++ year so I don't know why you were searching, but yes including an additional sentence wouldn't have hurt.
