Achievements broken in version 2.0.3.ZERO
And so it begins... is an unmissable story achievement, while A is for Android is easy to check early on. Neither unlocked in the aforementioned version, which is the currently latest. At that point, I thought it safe to conclude all achievements are broken in that version. Downgrading to the previous version, 2.0.2.ZERO made them work.
• I have no idea what the difference is between these two versions, since I couldn't find a change log anywhere. I can only tell you on the older version, the game was stable and I didn't encounter a situation where I locked myself out of progress or anything. Your mileage may vary.
• I tried e-mailing the developers at an address recommended to me, but so far I've received no response. I don't have a Steam account and that forum seems about as dead as this one, so that's that. I'm not going to sign up for Facebook or whatever to chase these people so I can report a bug.

The Birds
• The trick about this one is that you need to do it without dying even once.
• My guess is the problem stems from the area in the attached screenshot. Normally, there are 3 birds in that spot. After dying and restarting from that checkpoint, there are only 2 birds. Presumably that makes it impossible to shoo away all the birds, making this the rarest achievement on all platforms.

Now We Are Free
• To gist of it is that you need to always release possessed enemies. To be extra safe, if possession that was on a timer expired, I restarted from that checkpoint to make sure I released the enemy myself.
• Don't kill possessed enemies in any way whatsoever. No making them jump into pits, no making them attack non-possessed enemies, no nothing. In particular, don't ever press the Destroy button. To be extra safe, don't use it on yourself either. I did that a bunch of times in my first playthrough, because it was quicker than waiting for the screen to fade out after choosing to restart from the checkpoint.
• Non-possessed enemies might kill themselves by walking into laser barriers. At least two such instances are required to progress, so these types of deaths should be okay.
• It was safe to use the shockwave ability to clear the Zero Light in the presence of enemies. They went about their business unaffected.
• It may be necessary to rescue that one non-hostile NPC by possessing the pursuing enemy in time.
