I just completed the game, and as I see sb from the team being around, I thought I'd send my congratulations !

The gameplay, setting, story, ennemies pattern and all make the game very high in the genre. Balance was pretty good too (between gear for all builds, between puzzle and combat phase, great flow). Of course I'm a veteran of the genre but I think it can be a very good entry for a newcomer, especially as you don't have to deal with party managment.

Of course, it's not perfect, the boss fight is terribly boring. But it's fine. My biggest disapointment was this : the game gives us tons of interesting spells, electric shocks, fireballs, aoe or ranged, clone creation, even a spell to swap your position with an ennemy ! And NONE of that is used in puzzles. Not even an opportunity to use a gun to shoot a far away button. It made me sad, so many opportunities of varied interactions missed ! All we do is find the lever, activate the level in the right order, or push crates. All pretty mundane in this genre. Spell interactions with the environment would have been SO cool.

Anyway, I get a small team has to restrain its focus, so I hope I'll see more from this studio. GJ.

Hey, Gabby2!

Thank you for the post! We do appreciate the feedback!

The big issue with requiring gadgets in puzzles is that if you don't happen to find the gadget, the game could become unplayable, you could get stuck. We had crazy ideas for puzzles, trust me, but we had to scratch a lot of that so that you could never get stuck.
