I bought in installed both games, but it appears that there are DLC items listed as "not owned". My assumption was that the Van Helsing Complete editions included everything?

Anyone have any info on that?

Much appreciated, thank you!

I don't know about the second game as I have not tried it yet, but the first game seems to come with all the non pre-order exclusive DLC's.

I can't say I like the hole Pre-order only content think but you would have the same issue if you purchased the game on steam so its not GOGs fault.

As for the second Game I don't know if there are more DLCs that should be included to describe it as complete so if their are please post details about them here so other people can decide if they are important to them before purchasing the game.
According to product pages games complete packs contain the following:

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Blue Blood, Arcane Mechanic and Thaumaturge.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II: Ink Hunt, Pigasus and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II OST

Also unlike delique claims in his/her "review" of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, no other DLC exist for purchase anywhere. Steam offers exactly same DLC's that come with GOG version.

If the some of the above mentioned DLC's don't active properly, please contact support.

I can't speak for the DLC in Van Helsing II as I haven't started playing it yet, but the DLC that is in the first game that is listed as "not owned" seems to be pre-order stuff. The descriptions listed for said DLCs say so in their description on the in-game list. I hope that helps!

EDIT: Durr, I totally just noticed that dwyloc already said this. Sorry everyone!

I'll double-check when I get home. It was probably just the pre-order stuff and I should have paid more attention.

But thanks all for the help on this!

When you look at the store pages on Steam, their "complete pack" is like GOG's. Some of these things appear on the game launch screen as "not owned", but they're not for sale in the Steam pack, either:

VH2 complete pack:
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/51199/
VH2
Ink Hunt
Pigasus
OST
(Not listed: Magic/Epic/Rare/Legendary, Expurgator.)

The premium goodies for pre-order loyalists are a little annoying, and in some cases an unfair advantage, but it is 100% possible to enjoy the series for what it is. The goodies most likely just make the games a fraction of a difficulty level easier. I remember reading about things like small bonuses to crit and/or magic find - that kind of stuff.
