So, I have VTM Bloodlines installed, and recently downloaded the 'On Click Mod' expecting it to, you know, be a mod,
but it appears to just install a second copy of the game?

My original install is in a folder called VTMB, the 'one click mod' has created a new folder called 'VTMP UP' which the 'modded' version appears to play out of,

So is that it, its not actually modding as such, but more a pre-modded version of the game that installs separately,

If so, is it ok to then remove the 'non-modded' version of the game?

(and if so, that doesn't appear to have been made very clear)

Yes, this new version is the plus patched version of the game with all the restored content. The original GOG release included the basic patch which only fixes bugs and which is of course included in the plus version as well. Also if you really want you can always play the original game without any content changes with both version by using loader.exe!
