Tunngle is a new-er vpn client. Unlike Hamachi, there aren't small individual channels, it's more of a large lobby system with one large channel for all players of a specific game. I set up a Vampire the Masquerade channel yesterday. You can pick up the client at:

Hmmm, I'm betting that I'd still have a super long delay due to a satellite connection but it's worth a shot. It is a free program, right?

Yes, it's free. It hasn't been thoroughly tested yet however, I've only tried it with two people.

Well I downloaded it but will have to wait for the install until MS verifies that it won't trash XP. "Warning: Microsoft strongly urges you not to install this program ---- ".

Shouldn't be a problem, Hamachi did something very similar and worked fine on XP. If you want to play it safe, create a system restore point before installing and you'll be fine.

Yeah, I assume there's isn't a problem but fear the "what if" factor. I can try that but I'll need to verify that the restore point took. Several times in the past, myself and a Dell technician would try to use them and it would give an error message. Seems to be common from what the technician said. I'd also think that ifit works for "7" (what I assume you have), it should work for the older ones. MS wants to can XP so they may never get to testing the Tunngle program.
