Should I use this patch for virgin playthrough or stick to what's GOG provides? From what I understand it's kinda like Restoration Project for Fallout 2 which changes a lot not just bugfixes and small improvements?

For your first playthrough I recommed the GOG version which is 10.2 basic as far as know and is close to the original game.

565MB thats a chunky patch, now all we need is a HD textures pack

There are quite a few texture enhancing mods on Nexus and ModDB. But I'm not sure if there is an overall one.

This is only possible in the plus patch and still should be, I only removed her paying for this as it seems to be out of her character.

I don't have option to give it to her at all in plus patch 10.9. Unless it requires something else. I did quest with reporter and only available dialog options are questions about artifacts she wants.

It does not require anything else, but you can only do it once you have discussed the more important things with her.

Yeah, it works all right. I was playing malkavian and first time just didn't realize what this option do, thought it's some random dialogue.
