ive gone on properties and advanced after downloading the GOG version of vampire redemption but my folder or properties does not have the indexing comment and wont let me run as admin can someone help please???

I'm having the same issue. My game crashed going to Vienna, and my last saved game will not respawn Ardan. Running on Win 7.

I'm having the exact same problem as matragoran :-( first I couldn't overwrite my previous saves, but I fixed that problem. And now this problem has started after I killed Ardan at the Chantry and crashed when I tried to leave for Vienna. Now all the loot and Ardan are gone from my last save point. Any solution or tips- preferably without having to restart- would be gratefully appreciated.

I had the same problem happen to me. I uninstalled/reinstalled the game & started playing the game as administrator. I finally got back to the Vienna point & everything worked OK. I had to reinstall the game because when I tried going to an earlier save all the monsters & loot on the levels I had gone through earlier were gone. I couldn't progress in the storyline.

I don't know a lot about this but I do know that it is a known bug. The AOR (Age of Redemption) mod fixed it so it is possible that there is a patch for it. Pretty sure there are workarounds too - possibly an earlier thread at this site or at Planet Vampire would cover it.
