So I've set the video resolution higher than what my monitor can support. How do I reset the resolution or edit the ini file?

Running Windows 10 and I cannot find the masquerade.ini file under my user directory.

Pretty sure the problem is with the ini file as I deleted and reinstalled the game and the problem persists.

Thanks in advance!

Run the game with the parameter -window then change it. I think you have to run it with -full (or -fullscreen, don't remember) to get it back to full screen.
No luck in getting the game to open in windowed mode.

Everything is over in the bottom right corner of the screen. When the main menu loads up, it's off the screen.

Pretty clunky that one cannot easily access the ini file for direct edits.

I'm stuck.

If this is about Bloodlines and not Redemption, you can set the resolution directly using the shortcut: -w x -h y

Yes, its about Bloodlines.

By adding it to the target for the launch icon? Doesn't work or I'm using it incorrectly.

-w 1920 -h 1080, right?

Game still starts with the left third of the screen black and everything else pretty well pushed off the screen.

Make your shortcut target like the one in the attached pic.

Ah! I see my problem now. My target path was going through Galaxy Client first. Game is working again.

Thanks everyone!

hallo there I am stuck with the same problem.
But I haven't been able to fix the issue even with your post.
Can you please explain the approach more breifly?

For example how do I make use of you "-w x -h y" shortcut?
- which file so I have to change?

Thank you!

EDIT:
it worked!
- changed the resolution via the compatibility properties of the of the gog client.
After that I was able to change the resolution in game
