Should I place any changes (.cfg or assets) into the Vampire folder or the Unofficial_Patch folder? Thanks.

If this is about skins and other minor modifications, better place them into the Unofficial_Patch folder. Theoretically you can place them into the vampire folder all the same, but the subfolder content always overrides the main folder content!
