i do Apologize i am new to how mods work but i i ran and installed said Mod in the GOG.com - Vampire the masquerade Redemption - Documents area. now when i click the Run AOR mod it tells me that Javai.dll is missing.... and that is where i am at, any help?

It's been years since I loaded an AoR mod but I believe it is self loading and all one needs to do is change where it goes to the GOG folder to lead it to the same place. Documents area just doesn't seem right but I could be wrong.

That you, i actually managed to get it working after a long night of no sleep lol, again i appreciate the reply :D

Well after a night of trying to Get Age of Redemption to work i have given up. I've tried running the game in various compatibility modes, from windows 95 and all other versions above it. But the game loads and starts just fine, but after the first cut scene is finished the game immediately crashes. I've tried various resolution settings in the .ini file, as i originally was unable to change the resolutions from the in game menu and even with editing the .ini it doesn't change. But just to be sure i changed it to the original settings and a few others, slowly going up the list. This mods videos and the features listed seem really cool and might breath some needed fresh air into the game but i just cant get it to work at all. Oh and i don't see how I'm supposed to adjust the files for AoR config. I click on the shortcut (start menu, AoR, shortcut aor config) and it just tells me what i can adjust to make certain features work or not work, but they aren't in a .ini file or anything that i can find so i don't see how these code lines can change anything. Also I'm trying to start the game via the vampireAoR.exe, is this correct? or am i supposed to try and run the game as normal?

You should be trying to start it from the AoR icons in the start menu, not the ones in the directory.

Good news is Javokis, the creator of the mod, is beta testing a new version of it right now, with a new installer and a lot of bug fixes from previous versions, new cool content, features, like an option to fight Luther Black with Obtenebration that Javokis created, I saw it for myself this evening and it's BADASS!!! He'll also be posting a youtube video shortly of our playthrough, we were both using fraps so you can see from both perspectives.
