Hi everyone

I bought this game a year or so ago online, and have never gotten very far due to glitches :( I've installed this game on both my PC and laptop and have had problems with both. Here's some of my problems:

On both PC Laptop:
My game doesn't seem to save. I save once in the convent, and any other oversaves after that don't seem to register.

PC:
When I start a new game/pick up from the only save point, all the pick upable items (potions, weapons, torches, even treasure chests) have already been picked up but I don't have them. Also monsters are already dead, I only saw ghoul rats in the mines and the boss lady was there talking to me but I couldn't kill her, so i couldn't continue.

Laptop:
Couldn't talk to brujah lady (I'm sorry I'm terrible at names) to give me her blood so I couldn't get int he cematary. The 'talking skulls' were there but clicking her did nothing. Same for her buddy. When I saved and restarted the game, only the Convent save file was there :(

Any and all help would be marvelous :)

Oh also, I tried downloading a patch for my PC but.... It went evil O.O the opening menu and all that worked, but when it came time for me to play EVERYTHING WAS RED D;

So when I run the .exe (as an admin i asume you mean as the administrative user on the computer? I've only got the one soo... hopefully that's it!) the game just opens... I'm not sure what you mean by 'allow indexing'? Sorry!

EDIT: Ah I see, right click 'Run as Admin'! Thank you! Hopefully this will fix some of my problems :) I'll mark this as solved as soon as I can confirm everything goes as it should. Thanks again~

I'm having the same problems,

I can't save over previous files and if I play past the save point and load the file again the baddies do not respawn.

I'm running xp

I tried to right click run as... which opens a window giving me the option of "current user" or "the following user". I click the second option, put in administrator and my pw and it gives me the same problems.

What am I missing?
Indexing is allowed, file is ready for archiving, and it is compressed to save disk space.

I can open the file under admin but my only question is how do I check/change if the Indexing is enabled or not?

Right click the game folder, choose properties. In the general tab, attributes section, click on 'Advanced'. The option is there.
