I'm trying to play Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines on a windows 10 system and I'm having an issue where the left mouse button is non-responsive until I move the mouse. I've done a search and this seems to be a problem on Windows 10 systems, but the only advice I've seen is try the unofficial patch (I've installed 10.0, still same problem) or rebind mouse1 to another button. However the threads I've seen are a bit old.

Is there currently a better solution than rebinding the mouse button? I would like to play the game with my mouse acting as well, the mouse.

Thanks!

Ok, I found it now. I thought I just had to install the patch, not move files around to get it to work. Thanks.
