Im struggling with it...aside from the numerous bugs, the balance appears to have gone out of the window. Traps one shot your characters even at full hp, forcing you to memorize them or reload. Weapons do so much damage that the game quickly turns into one hit kills. I mean really, its quite silly when a cheap crossbow lets you run around killing almost everything in one hit before they can get near you...and thats not even with using incendiary ammo.

When I got to modern day i discovered that guns were incredibly buggy, humans cant soak bashing damage from guns even if they are wearing armor and vampires with no armor can soak insane amounts of damage from guns. AI can't burst fire properly either, AI with pistols can fire them in full auto mode which you can't and dump 4-5 shots into you in 1 second. AI with rifles/shotguns fire one shot then stand around for a few seconds doing nothing before firing a second shot.

And for some reason the london gun shop (Otto's Van) is bugged and most of his inventory is missing...

Also the forced changes to levels that are annoying, like invincinbile teutonic knights that you can see but can't target, hoppers draining your blood constantly with no defense allowed and altered boss fights.

Nobody on the mod's forum seems to be alive except the creator who doesn't seem very interested in discussing the mod...

I have but not the latest; none of what you said applied when I played it so perhaps it's the latest mod? Older ones may still be available but I don't really know. It is a very old game - probably very few still playing it so a dead game site isn't surprising. Did you try "Planet Vampire"?

This mod is extremely frustrating...i have spent way too much time trying to fix the broken aspects on it. Just discovered that the mod makes Pink go nuts and try to diablerize practically every vampire he sees, which means that he spams "Awe" non-stop (which ges resisted) and is useless in combat. He does this even with "AI hunts blood" set to off and using the console command to change his Aura to something else doesnt work, even though the script checks for a Diablerist aura.

They have a section dedicated to it and several players that play it regularly using the AoR including the site owner (who is not the AoR maker).
Also, I believe that even in the old game, the Pink behavior can be set not to do that - can't remember how exactly but he is set to something like aggressive and can be easily set to defensive.
