I started the prologue and I was told I couldn't save my game but that it would automatically resume from the last checkpoint. I arrived at my firs destination, which I assumed was a checkpoint, but when I reopened the game there is no option to continue where I left off. Is the checkpoint further in or is something wrong?

Hey There,
in the Pilgrims of the Wasteland story (that is if you allow to the old man to tell his tale), the first checkpoint is created when you leave the first settlement. (That is around 20 mins into the game.) From that point, there is an autosave refreshed every time you leave a settlement, another daily autosave refreshed each morning you break camp, and nice chapter saves created at the time of major events in the story.

In the open-world campaign, you can save manually (except during events or combat), plus you the settlement and daily camp autosaves get created similarly to the PotW story.

Hope this helps,
The Lost Pilgrims Team
