Soccorro: Win 10 64bit
Hmmm, i was testing it on win 10 64 bit machine. Did you make sure there are no apps running in the background?
Any skype, fraps, web browser or anything?
Also, try running the game directly through its .exe file in game folder.

megas: same windows 10 64bit and i dont see how skype can affect it but i will close it and try
This is a very "delicate" game and really anything can affect it, we've already checked it and any applications running in the background are a potential threat to it.

megas: ok closing skype fixed this but now the game crashes whenever i start a new campaign. it plays the tutorials fine
does it crash when you start a campaign mission or when you access campaign screen in menu? Try turning off sky in the options menu if its on.

IronArcturus: Has anyone been able to get the game to work on Win7 64-bit?
I've just checked it on 2 win7 64 bit machines and had no problems <.<
Where does it crash for you? Is it on startup?

c-Row: For me it crashes as soon as I press F9 to call in a Citadel during the second training mission. I tried deactivating as many other applications as possible, as well as running the game through its original .exe file.

(Win 10 64bit)
Do you have the sky on in game options? Can you disable it and try again?

Vindalou: I can start the tutorial, but it crashes when it brings up the energy triangle, or whatever it;'s called. Also crashed when I pressed esc during a mission.

Both crashes also reset the sound and graphics options.
What system are you on?
Did u make sure there are no background applications running?
Are you playing with the sky off?
Did you change any nGlide settings?

genericola: I did eventually get it working on win7-64 after a restart, I guess I might of had some process it didn't like in the background. I was able to play without changing any of the nglide settings, but I was able to turn sky to on and it seemed to work.
That's very likely, good to see you managed to get it working.

branbuds: This game crashes at the end of a mission and does not save the progress. It does do an in game save OK but I can't progress any further than the first level because of this. It also crashes at the end of each training mission. I also note that nglide version 1.03 is shipped within the game. nglide current version is 1.05. How can you delete the old version of nglide within the game folder itself and then use the latest version please?
You can just copy and paste the new version over the current one if im not mistaken. Although i doubt it would fix any issues, its still worth a try.

euantye: I've noticed the game seems to go to a black screen and not load if any additional monitor is connected to the system. I tried physically disconnecting all but one of my monitors, restarting my system and the game launched. I then plugged one additional monitor back in while the game was sitting on the main menu and the game instantly went to a black screen.
That's not a problem in most cases, we've been testing the game on multi-screen setups and it worked.

Eigar.882: Windows 7 64bit user, disabled most background processes. Disabled visual theme, desktop composition and dps setting scaling. Run as admin, tried multiple compatability modes. Disabled nglide. Game still wont start up, i just keep seeing the "Loading Uprising" message. Anyone else got the same problem?
can you try disabling every(!) startup application besides system ones, restart the pc and run the game before anything else? (don't forget to reinstall it properly before that as poking with the game files might caused another problem here...)
