As what I know you can get UT2k4 from steam and GoG.com (which has it cheaper and no DRM) I would like to play it with my friends who've already bought it from steam.

Is it possible to play multiplayer games between GoG.com -version and Steam-version as I've had problems with games like Age of Wonders when trying to play multiplayer between two versions.

Steam users can play with gog users as both can play with retail users.
