Is it possible to add it as a bonus feature?

If the GOG folk did it, they'd do it wrong most likely.

The music format used in unreal has infinite loops and tracks that are broken off into separate sections that get activated in combat, etc. Then there's the question of what tracker can most closely render the music as it was intended. Probably schism tracker or openmpt. You still need to get the parameters right too.

I doubt they would even try.

OHMYGODJCABOMB, while it would be VERY easy to create MP3s, OGGs, or FLACs of the tracked UMX music used in UT, whether or not GOG would want to pursue the necessary copyrights is unknown.

There's no real need for MP3s or FLACs of the music if you have a decent MOD file player.
In Windows there's ModPlug Player, , [url=http://www.aimp.ru]AIMP, and with the correct plug-in Winamp

In Android, Xmp Mod Player, and VLC for Android

clarry, you have the music file sub-structure from from Unreal/Return to NaPali (RtNP)/Unreal Gold (UG), confused with the music from UT.
While all the Unreal Engine 1 (UE1) games primarily use tracked music in the UMX file format (there is an OGG file plugin available for UE1 for Deus Ex), not all UE1 games use sub-sequence loops within the UMX file.
With Unreal/RtNP/UG, the music file sub-sequences are Intro, Calm explore, Tense, Combat, Combat outro.
With UT, the music files don't need the sub-sequences, since the game is straight out combat.

Unreal had a soundtrack CD released which had some of the music from the game.

With the music from a UE1 game, it's a simple matter to either play the files directly in a suitable MOD file player, or extract the music to a WAV file for conversion into an MP3, OGG, or FLAC.
In my own case, I've done that conversion to the UMX music from my CD of UT, to turn those files into suitable files for use in UT2003 and UT2004, as I actively disliked Kevin Riepl's remixes of the UT originals.

Also, Foobar2000 has a similar component in the OpenMPT plugin.
