When I had first installed Unreal Tournament GOTY on to my computer, it worked fine right out of the "box". The only issue was that it never fully shut down upon properly exiting the game (the process didn't close and I still heard the music. I just closed the process and all was well).


Next day, I can't even start the game! I click the GoG launcher (both its shortcut and the Start Menu shortcut), it shows the splash screen, and just... doesn't do anything! Stays there.


I have not launched it in Safe Mode yet, because I don't want to use Safe Mode. I want to find out what the problem is that is causing it. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps changing some control configurations did not save right, and upon restarting my computer, maybe the configuration file became "unloadable" or something. That's all I can think of.



Is this happening to anyone else? Has anyone come across a solution? Please help me!

UPDATE: For some reason, it is working now. I do not know what was the cause of it, but after trying to launch hours later, it is working. How queer. My apologies if I wasted anyone's time.

I'm glad it got fixed. A piece of advice, though: be sure to post your computer specs.
