Hello everyone,
I'm new to GOG and to PC gaming in general (I've been a console gamer forever though, and I'm still into retrogaming, on there). :)
I'm looking for some basic tips/suggestions for configuring and playing my classic games at their best. I tried to look around to see if there was already a similar discussion, but I couldn't find any,
So, as per the title, is there any way I can configure my XBOX One controller for this game?
This is my setup:
- MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE gaming laptop (i7, 16GB, GTX1060 6GB)
- AOC 1080p 144hz 25" monitor
- XBOX One controller
- Windows 10 Home Edition
Unreal Gold seems to run pretty great out of the box: I could set it at 1080p and get stable 60fps in Direct3D mode. It's even displayed in true 16:9, which is very nice!
Controller support seems broken, though, as it makes the camera to spin around like crazy, when I simply activate it under game's preferences.
I don't really wish to mess around with patches that change its original visual style - I love how it runs now, as it looks exactly how I remember it, but in widescreen and at a pefect framerate - and honestly I could just play with mouse and keyboard. I'm just curious to see if it's possible to enable my controller and see how it feels playing Unreal that way.
Thanks alot in advance!
