If anyone here who has a Windows 7, 64-bit PC tries to run Unreal 2004 and nothing happens when you click on the original Unreal 2004 exe file to launch the game:
1) Go to http://www.unrealcentral.com/ut2004-unreal-tournament-2004-64-bit-patch/
2) Download the [UT2004] Unreal Tournament 2004 64-Bit Patch by clicking on the green arrow in the white box under the patch description post.
3) Unzip all the files in ut2004-win64-3369.zip's /System folder into Unreal 2004's /System/ folder. Also unzip all the files in the zip file's /Help folder into your Unreal 2004 installation's /Help folder.
4) Click on ut2004-win64.exe in the above mentioned /System folder to start Unreal 2004 in 64-bit mode.
