Hi,
My laptop using a GeForce 970M doesn't appear to recognize the Direct3D renderer fully in Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, Unreal 2, as well as Unreal Tournament 2004 anymore. So, what is going on? I'm just at a loss why I don't have full Direct3D support, whereas I used to have it in the past. The option does seem to work. I mean, I am completely capable of going into the game with it on, but the performance is just off. FPS drops everywhere and when using preferences in-game, the Direct3D option doesn't show, so I suspect something is wrong. Even upgrading to Direct3D 10 or 11 does not appear to make it any better. What does work is rendering the games with an OpenGL feature, but not every game listed above supports it, I think.
So, what can I do to restore full Direct3D support?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
