I already own a legal copy of the original Unreal Tournament: Game of the Year Edition on CD. It runs great on my old computer with Windows XP, but it has a strange problem on my two newest computers (one running Windows XP Pro with an AMD Dual-Core and one running Windows 7 64-bit with an AMD Quad-Core): The problem is that the game's speed constantly changes between slow and fast.
When I say slow I don't mean lagging slow as the framerate is still very smooth, but I mean slow motion, and then it goes so fast that the player runs across the room in under a second, and it is unplayable. I have two questions regarding this issue.
1. Does the GOG version of UT GOTY have this error?
2. Is there a way to fix this error without having to buy the GOG version?
I would rather not have to pay for another copy of the game, but if the GOG version does not have this error and there is no way to fix this on the original CD version then I guess that is my only option. Please help if you can. Thank you!
