One of Dude Huge's classics, this is the game that was made when all games weren't meant to look pretty, and it was during the era when political incorrectness could be found in any game. You will never, ever, ever find a multiplayer game that goes back to basics like this. If only more people were online...

Actually, this game was meant to look pretty. In fact, it was the prettiest game until Quake 3 was released, then UT2K4 after that.

I am really pleased they pick these up tho. I havent got the slightest idea where my old disks are (ut goty :D man wat a pack! ) and i llike the idea of having it downloadable whenever :)
Higher profile games like this could really boost gog

I bought UT3 for the editor, which is awsome, not the game which i've only played 3 times.

But those were during the days when you could get by without a graphics card. Pretty? Yes, but people cared about the gameplay rather than the eye candy, a far cry from today's visual-obessed world.

ok, im probably being dense or missing something, but why does everyone bash on ut3? I'll be the first one to admit that UT2k4 is better, but UT3 brought some interesting things tot the table, the laser sniper, the vehicles, even all three rocket alt fires. can someone fill me in as to why theres so much hat on for the game?
