I've used my GOG Unepic key to play multiplayer, but I'm checking Unepic in my gamelist and I don't see it anymore...

I'm lost. Where did you use your GOG Unepic key?

Downloaded the multiplayer client from the Unepic site and used my gog key to make an account. (I had forgotten this and figured it out shortly after I asked this question)

Is the key supposed to disappear when you use it?

I'm sure you've noticed by now that there are a number of recent posts cropping up here about the multiplayer key being missing.

http://www.gog.com/forum/unepic/multiplayer_1
http://www.gog.com/forum/unepic/unepic_serial

Basically, when I first bought the game under the My Account page in my GOG account where I download the game from there was a serial key that I was able to register on the Unepic website. At the time I was also then able to redeem a Steam key, which I did so that I could get updates faster, though that is no longer possible for new buyers here on GOG.

Anyway, when I go to the game in the GOG My Account page now, the serial key is not present. It has been removed. As such, I imagine that all these posts about users not having their key is due to the same issue, they've bought the game on GOG and their key isn't shown.

To them, the advice I give is that they should contact GOG support raising a multiplayer key request.

However, as you created the game maybe you can shed some light on why buyers here aren't getting their key any more?

I was wondering the same thing. I read the post here:
http://www.gog.com/forum/unepic/gog_steam_keys
And I assumed it meant we don't get the serials anymore, but franfistro says at the bottom that the serials would be given so we can take advantage of the web things. Has this been changed? I'm sure there is a good reason since franfistro seems to be very supportive of the players, but it is a big letdown.

I would also be very grateful if franfistro could give us some news on this :) BTW thank you for this amazing game and your active participation in this forum!

Read that post, doesn't sound good what with GOG saying they were asked to remove the keys at the request of the developer. I guess we now have to ask franfistro what is going on here.
I can see this is going to get complicated...
What is weird is that the other day (I think about a week ago) I found the multiplayer beta version and downloaded it, and am able to play LAN. Now I cannot find this, and I believe I got it off of Unepic's site. I don't see why we aren't able to play multiplayer when we spent the same amount of money that it is selling for on steam, or Unepic's website. I'm not a fan at all of steam (like most GOGers), and that's why I bought it on here.
Wondering if anyone else has had the same experience with the MP-beta.

I hope multiplayer becomes available for the GOG version at some point.

I got the game for two separate friends of mine on their birthday and while my intent was just for them to play and enjoy the game separately, it would be even better if we could all play mutliplayer together.
