So, i just bought the game. really enjoy playing it. but just now, ive encountered the following problem and it really makes it impossible to enjoy the game any further.

After landing in the swamp with the leeches, my character continues to lose 2 hp. no effects are displayed, like poisoned, paralyzed or burning would be. just before he would die, the "countdown" stops and hes left with some few hp.

Problem is, no saving helps. no potions neither. I let the chara be killed ... same thing starts again. Chara doesnt die from the poisoning, but i get low health. and whenever i get higher health, it starts again. cant get rid of it.. so.. i dont know what to do. this is a bug, right? anybody had this, too? Any tips?

Check your inventory; something undesirable may have crawled in there.

It isn't a bug.

(By the way, before you fight the boss in the library, you might want to turn off auto-saving.)
