I've just started the game again after buying the DLC, and after the intro scene it goes to a black screen. Music continues playing, but the screen remains black.

I've tried it several times, both skipping and watching the intro, and the same thing happens.

EDIT: Okay, turns out my antivirus was being touchy about UnderRail for some reason.
Specifically, it was Windows Defender that seems to have been causing the problem. I had to go to Controlled Folder Access and allow UnderRail through it/set UnderRail as an exception, since it protects My Documents, which is where the game saves.

Everything seems to be working now, and after about a year I can finally play UnderRail again! ^_^

I made an account just so I could tell you, THANK YOU YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARD!!! THANK YOU SO GOD DAMN MUCH!
Thank you CascadeJackal
i found so many placed that said to just give underrail antivirus exception, which didnt help me for some reason

But your mention of Controlled Folder Access made me check that, and that bloody worked!!!

Again thank you very much
Another route exists: Creating a symbolic link after moving your saves folder to a different location.

It essentially tricks the game and Windows Defender into thinking the save files are still in their expected sub-folder inside the 'Documents' folder, while they are actually stored elsewhere.
