I had no problems with the game so far, all very smooth. Powell Lake at the end where the tyre-barrier is, there is an opening to the right and it feels odd if the ship makes the sound of the barrier but none is there.

There are several German translation bugs, it shows "Send a bug report" in German instead of the translation.
Every encyclopedia entry the last phrase about the fish and at the bottom left of the main screen under the controls (I think where it should say "Hit O to hide controls").

Some feedback from when I started.

At the beginning the bait cost 4$ and often the fish I caught got me 4$, I did not make much money and had a hard time updating my equipment, while still learning the game.

I think this is a kick in the face, when you just start playing and not up for a challenge.

Now in Mid- or Late-game, the costs for bait are peanuts.

It would make the game much more approachable, if you would identify the item bought in the shop and if it is bait like flies, Maden, corn, peas etc. Make it to be a stack of 10 with each purchase.

It also makes more sense, because who does go into a shop to buy 1 fly for 4$?

Hello! Hope this is not a silly question or related, but this is the first time I play this game, I hugely love Fishing games so I immediately bought the game and the DlCs, so I have a little question: what do I have to do in order to be able to play the DLC? It keeps showing the "Buy" button and I already owned the three DLC. I'm just level 4.

Do I have to keep leveling? Maybe there is something I'm missing? I'm not planning to play these directly before getting everything from the other maps, but I don't want to be unable to play the DLC. I hope this is not a too N00b question so...

What do I have to do in order to play the DLC? Is something related to time? Do I have to keep leveling? It is a Skill I have to buy?

PD: I installed the game via GOG Galaxy, I let GOG do all the installment for me, didn't directly downloaded all the things and installed them manually.

Hi, I used the normal offline installer and use Galaxy merely to update games.
I bought the DLC yesterday, started Galaxy (the game is added even from the offline installer but can be run entirely without the client), went into settings and enabled the three DLC. Galaxy installed them for me and when I started the game (without Galaxy again), they were all enabled.
There is no mention of available DLC, in the encyclopedia I can see all the fish descriptions and the new places are available.

At Atchafalaya Basin the background sound loop is not smooth. Every 1-2min there is a 0.2sec skip of sound when it loops.

p.s. F5 for bug report could not resolve the hostname to send the report...

When will we be getting the 1.7.2.414 update here at gog?

I may have done it wrong, but I wasn't able to get DLC. I think this is terrible, I don't know why I can't update my game with the three DLCs already installed, it keeps asking me to buy them, and I already have them.

I uninstalled the game, downloaded the client manually, installed it, patched, then installed the three DLC and double cliqued the game to make it open, and was the same, then I went to Galaxy, for some reason didn't say that I had them installed, so I made GOG Galaxy install it for me, synchronized with Cloud in order not to lose my game... And was the same.

Maybe, just maybe, it's because I installed the game somewhere else than the first folder the game suggested me?
Can you explain to me a little more how you did it? If possible?

Exactly like you have it in the Galaxy screenshot.
I install my games into the default folder C:\GOG Games\

Maybe it is worth contacting GOG support.

p.s. I don't use any clouds or skies.

I was FINALLY able to make the DLC work! I had to install the game on the Default folder C:\GOG Games\. That was THE ONLY WAY it recognized them. I didn't want because C doesn't have that much of space, and I have plenty on D, but oh well, I guess it's okay as much as it can work.

It's January 2020, and the game seems to have completely lost it's mind. I've been catching heaps of fish since January first, including a heap of Black Marlin, one of which was my largest fish ever (over 500kg) My first ever Striped Marlin, and first ever Arapaima, both of which I've been trying to catch for an age, plus assorted fish from other locations.
The leader-boards UNFORTUNATELY do not show any of this. I've been in the top seven or eight of the global rankings for the last few months, but this time around, the game isn't counting any of the fish I've caught. I'm at the very bottom listed as minus one fish caught and zero weight. I've tried resetting the modem, un-installing and re-installing both the game and the client, but to no avail.
Each time I achieve a personal best, the fish's weight IS updated in my trophy room, it is just very frustrating that my results are not showing up in the rankings.
Another strange occurance, today I caught my first three Arapaima, the largest of which was a tad over 53kg, but the achievement never popped.
Just a couple of things that are driving me insane today haha, I am sorry to post this here, but I cannot report bugs with F5 as the button is used by the computer for monitor functions.
Not sure if anyone else is experiencing similar problems or not, but thought it would be helpful to post in the hope that if I'm not the only one, the devs might be made aware of the problem and it can be looked into.
Really enjoying the game, just love catching me some monster fish!
