I know the first question (the one about the father and mother) decides the gender of your character, but what about the other questions? They are not the same each play through so I assume that it's just a fun little touch. Is that the case?

Maybe they determine your starting stats? At least that's what the moral questions in Ultima IV, V and VI are for.

They do influence the stats, but they're partially random too.
