Does anybody knows how it looks. It was suppose to be in the south east, behind the closed doors of the Trolls area. Where the Ankh is. I was there before and I think I took everything. The problem is - it seems I don't have any writ.

I went through all my stashes and could not find it. I don't know if I did not throw it accidently to the water. Is there anyway to search items in the game? I mean some hack or save editor or whatever? Maybe some cheat to have it in inventory?

i thinks that some quest related items are indestructable, (ie throwing them into water just has them sit n the water instead of disapearing, not sure about lava or fireballing them)

as to editor/hacks i havent seen any myself though if there are any they most likely will be DOS programs
That Ankh room in the Trolls area is the correct place. See attached screenshots for an idea of what it looks like. It's also one of the rare "smooth scrolls" in the game (most of them are "ragged scrolls")

Yeah, well. I just don't have it. And it is nowhere in my stashes. I have no idea what happened to it. Maybe it is that bug with disappearing items. I just recall one memory when I dumped one scroll. Just one scroll. Maybe it actually happened and perhaps it was this particular scroll. Well. I suppose I might have to restart the game.

If you want to complete the two quests for joining their order, then yes, you'll have to restart if you can't get the writ. However, these are side quests, and your primary reward is a full set of plate armor + broadsword. All of the pieces are in excellent condition, but none of them are magical, many characters won't be strong enough to make use of them in their entirety, and you can assemble a full set of plate mail without these pieces. Completing the quests will let you take anything the knights in that area own, but they don't have anything special, and you can use the normal means of acquiring owned items if you want something that badly.

In short: if you've already invested a fair amount of time in your character, I wouldn't bother restarting.

true that could be the culprit
i found that i had to go around fireballing as much junk as i could to try and prevent it from happening

as well as keeping multiple saves usually before descending to a level for 1st time

i hope that you have a save you can load before that level
if you don't then i wish you goodluck on a second playthrough and hope you can avoid that bug
Thank you all for answers. I restarted the game. I read a little late that that quest does not give anything special. However my character has now 27 Strength instead of previous 23 and I can say the difference is quite big. At the beginning I slaughtered enemies a lot easier, not to mention I can carry more.

The sad part is descending is not so fast - due to stashing, but it is still faster than before.
if i recall correctly, items also tend to disappear if you throw them into a corner of a wall. so if you want to stash anything, it's best to drop them in the middle of a path or anywhere away from a wall.
