On my laptop(Win 7 19 inch), UW 1 is only using maybe 2/3 or 3/4 of the height of the screen. Is this normal, or can I make this bigger? Seems back when I played this on a desktop way back when, the inner screen was MUCH bigger. I'd like to make it at least somewhat bigger.

On start menu, under Ultima Underworld submenu, there is link to "Graphics mode setup" or something like this... Run it and change the output to ddraw (default is surface).

Thanks, but UW 1 doesn't have anything like this, that I know of? Are we talking the same game? When I load up the game, there is only:

Introduction
Acknowledgements
Create Character
Journey Onward

Or, how do you get to this sub menu?

Graphics Mode Setup is part of the GOG package, not the original UU.
It's the file "Graphic mode setup.exe" in the "Ultima Underworld 1 and 2" folder.

Yes, but you need to make sure to run the GOG shortcut that was created in the start menu or it won't work. They put a ton of command-line options into the shortcuts to make them work correctly.
