Help please, I have checked DEP and made sure the file is in Norton firewall program control to allow access.

So when I start the program to install Ultima VI and it opens GOG there are no highlighted option in Manage installation. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what's up.

Thanks

Hello,
Are you using the offline installers or gog's service?

Hi,
I am using gog's service. I can deduct that I may have to use the offline installer. I am pretty new to the system this is the first I have heard of offline installers. Fill me in if you would please?
Thanks for the reply.

Part of the charm of GOG is that they offer you the ability to download files directly without using the galaxy service.
On the website you see at the top of the website you login name.
1) Put your mouse over it and it will show a list of options, one is named games.
2) Move the mouse down to where it says games and click.
3) Move you mouse over the square showing the game name. There will be a little box on the bottom right with a down chevron. Click on it.
4) Move your mouse down over where it says view download and click on it.
5) At the bottom left of the new screen is an area called Download Offline Backup Game Installers. Below it is the list of the installation files. If you click on it that will download to your computer the actual installation file/files for the game. This file once downloaded is your forever, no internet or anything needed. You could put it on a thumb drive, copy, move it where you want. When you wish you can double click on that file and it will bring up an installation path request. Tell it where you want to install the game. It will then install the game. I would suggest you install it anywhere but the program files folder, that folder has write protection and will often cause games to not correctly run. I've always created a games folder and install all my gog games there.
