Just wondering if anyone is attempting (even in early stages) anything like Exult or xu4 but for Ultima 1-3, or any other ports/remakes.

Edit: While I'm at it, in Ultima IV, I can't see to recruit Iolo as a companion. He just refuses when I ask.

What virtue did you choose in the last question/what town did you start near? Or what profession are you? If you chose compassion and are a bard, you won't be able to recruit him AFAIK.

I'm a bard and I've definitely been hearing a lot about compassion.

Ultima 1 doesn't seem to really have any (there are some NWN modules that look incomplete)
Ultima 2 has a port to windows that allows you to use different color schemes

Ultima 3 has a bit more. There is Retelling:Exodus which uses Ultima Online, but the gem is the Ultima 3 for Mac. You can use a Mac Emulator. I played this back in '96 and it was great.
