Does anyone know if it's possible to mod Ultima 8 to expand the viewable screen?

Not make the window bigger, but be able to see more of the surrounding area beyond the original dimensions?

In original DOS based game, it is not possible.

There is unofficial remake project called Pentagram, which uses original datafiles. With that, you can adjust your screen size.

It is not yet perfect, but playable.
