I recently got Ultima 7 and it just doesn't seem to run. I open up through the desktop shortcut and DOSBOX pops up for the first part, screen flashes to black and then suddenly closes up like nothing ever happened. The Serpent Isle has a similar problem, except I at least get the opening cinematic there, then it close. I run off of Windows 7 64 bit so everyone knows, it just doesn't seem to want to work

Edit: And after being an idiot and searching for all of two minutes. I just made it so the shortcuts run as admin and all is fine.

Oh THANK YOU! I thought something was wrong with my game! >_< Never occurred to me to run this in Admin mode myself.

Having issues with u7? Get exult. Great, great, great program that will run it flawlessly, AND allow you to tweak the game like you never thought possible. Change screen res, add modpacks, add player health bars, plot tweaks, bug fixes, everything you could ask for.
