Ok Ok Iv been googling and it seems I am the only person to have this issue, I looked up what the Longitude and Latitude for all the areas to get the password are, but when it gets to Dagger Isle everyone and there F-ing mom tells me its 0, just 0! but it appears the mayer doesn't know that cause he tells me to my face that I am wrong...
I have no idea how to even word this problem on google since it seems like nobody has even played this game for some reason so no results come up except for the very clearly stated wrong answers.

Now I dont know what deference it makes, but my version is the free version on abandonware, I plan on getting the GOG version I guess but I wanted to make sure id like the game first, however it worked just fine on my Mac, i had no issues until this point, and I dont think the abandonware version was reprogrammed to difference latitude and longitude just to screw with the brains of players, but I should mention it regardless, if I just leave the meter at 0 he tells me that I am not the avatar and thats the end of that!

And before anyone thinks I illegally torrented it, no abandonware is a legal site for abandoned software, it is not breaking the rules, this is just the only place on the internet to find a Ultima forum thats not deader than the horse EA likes to beat.

Well, you could try a site like rpgwatch to ask questions. Lots of old game player there.

However, are you saying that abandonware sites are legal? Because they aren't.

They are just archives for long abandoned software so that time doesnt forget them, it was put up on abandonware years and years and years before the game was re-released and the company failed to protect its copyright at the time cause they had effectively abandoned it.

But it doesnt matter cause I am decided to just perchase a lagit copy I read somewhere that all old copies dont exactly work right and thats why its a good idea to just buy it, so debating the legality of preserving old abandoned software is a moot point.

Failing to protect a copyright (if there is such a thing, there is in trademark) doesn't make abandonware sites legal, just ignored.
EA still owns the copyrights to the Ultima games even if they do nothing with them. Some of that software on those
abandonware sites are posted illegally and are still protected by copyright laws because the companies that own the rights are still around
