Every time I land on space station's door successfully, I get killed. Am i missing something?

You haven't to land on it, you must dock by the shuttle's front.
To clarify what dr.schliemann said, you have to approach the space station very slowly. If you try to dock too fast (anything more than straight forward at the very minimum speed) you will crash.
I do believe I've said that i've landed on the space shuttle successfully, but it got me killed instead.

EDIT: Nvm, found the reason why. Didn't had a suit equipped.

Wearing a Vacuum suit or a Reflect suit is one thing.

For future problems with this part of game I would also add a solution for docking (which need to be done with one-pixel precision). I had some problems with that and solved simply by slowing the game down. In DosBox it may be done easily by decreasing DosBox cycles (hit Ctrl+F11 a few times) and increasing them back to normal by (Ctrl+F12).

I hope it may help someone.
I still wonder why Richard Garriott thought this sequence was a good idea in what is supposed to be an RPG. Maybe his (then) inexperience?

Maybe inexperience... but supposedly the Ultima series was to an extent based on his tabletop gaming sessions, which forces me to imagine that those gaming sessions must have been absolutely frigging amazing.

More likely, though, he was just throwing all the tropes at the wall. There wasn't a need in those days to make a coherent narrative as much as there was to just make a fun game.

I've read some interview and the explanation was exactly as above :) If looking for more coherent titles, just continue with the series. Ultima I, well, should be taken with a pinch of salt ;)
