Anyone know how to get your party members to use range weapons at an actual range? I've tried just about ever different combat mode, but Jaana keeps running up monsters despite being armed with a sling and not having armor yet. As you can imagine, she does not last long. I finally had to put her on flee until I get some armor and a sword for her.

I'm using the lasted build of Exult.

Does she have ammunition for her sling? If I remember correctly party members with ranged weapons try to do melee when out of ammo. But I could confuse this with another game. Unfortunately I don't have time to look into that for the next few days.

That's true, but I don't think you need to carry ammo for a sling.
