Hey y’all
So I just started my play through, but ran into a problem.
I would save my game after a session and come back the next day to play only to find that my game has not save and i would have to restart. After about three days of this I stopped playing.
Is there any way to fix this issue, if so please leave a comment on how to fix.
Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

Hmm, this is a new one. We may need to do some troubleshooting before we can help you. First off, what OS are you running, and are you executing this via GOG Galaxy?

If you open GOG Galaxy, and you click on the "settings" icon (just to the right of the "Play" button, it looks like two lines with two circles on the lines, as if the circles are settings that you can move to the left and right on a slider), click on it and click on "Manage Installation" and then "Show folder". This should show you where your game is installed. There, you should see a subdirectory called "UNDEROM1" which is where your save games should be saved. "SAVE1" is the first slot, "SAVE2" is the second, and so forth until "SAVE4". If you successfully saved your game, in that slot, there should be 4 files there, with the time-stamp of when you saved the game. The files are "BGLOBALS.DAT", "DESC", "LEV.ARK", and "PLAYER.DAT"

Do you see those files? If not, can you check permissions on that folder to ensure that you have permission to write and read in that directory?

Also, what do you see when you try to load a game? You should be starting the game, clicking on "Journey Onward," and then should be able to to click on the name of the savegame. Do you see that? If not, what do you see that is different than what we expect you to see?
