So i recently purchased Ultima 7 on gog. I didnt exactly like how the game looked and ran in the default dosbox, It was pretty bad, frame rate issues, black bar on the bottom, etc... It was a bit of a mess.

Long story short, I found Exult, after getting it all up and running, Ive noticed that my mouse cursor jumps all over the place. Is this common? or is there an option that i should disable or something? its kind of annoying.
Other than that, It looks amazing under exult, and runs fairly decent, probably as good as it should.

Please report this in the Exult forum so we can get behind what the problem is. Thanks

As replied to in the Exult forum, this is caused by the latest Windows 10 big update and the old SDL 1.2x backend. Our snapshots are *now* compiled against SDL2 and shouldn't have that problem anymore. Please download the latest snapshot from our homepage.

It's awesome that people are still playing this game. I played it to death when it came out, and many times since. Never thought I'd be caught saying the phrase "they don't make em like they used to".......

Tried jumping back into U7 today and am definitely experiencing this problem, but see that Sourceforge is having some pretty serious issues. Is the file that's available there the most recently compiled one? (1.49rc1-win32)

Couldn't tell you, but right now the website seems to be online again. For how long, I dunno. I think they've been having problems for at least a week now.

Thanks for the heads up! The version at /downloads on the SF temp site was back a few versions. Now that the normal page is back up and I've got the most recent release everything is working just fine.

Yes, our releases are ancient. Always grab the snapshot off our download page (not the SF project page).
