how do i go straight to the options menu in the game without having to flip through all the pages in the book in the game?

I usually find it hard to quit the game, i had to press 'q' and then click on the journal book, and then it usually doesn't start from the page where i can quit the game. I had to flip through many pages to reach the exit option and it gets annoying..is there any better way to quit the game?

If I remember correctly, CTRL+X will quit. It will ask confirmation first of course.

when you go to journal click on the bookmark at the top it will take you to a menu that you can choose to quit on there.
