I'm at a loss and I was hoping someone could help me. I've gone 8 levels and haven't used any magic. I saved all the reagents I've come across and I'm now ready to use magic, but when I double clicked on any of the circled spells in the book, like Great Light, all I get is a red "X", and nothing happens. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Here's my stats:

Strength: 60 (30 from Forge of Virtue quest, plus another 30 from LB for eliminating Exodus)
Dexterity: 30 (30 from Forge of Virtue quest)
Intelligence: 30 (30 from Forge of Virtue quest)

Edit: I figured out the problem. :)

I'm guessing the spellbook and/or reagents were carried by another character than the avatar.

Pretty much. This works for gold when buying things. I thought the same would work for reagents.
