Without a doubt EA is evil and responsible for the death of the Ultima series.

Oh here we go, look the fact is, and I know it is hard to believe but it is the truth none the less, Origin killed Ultima. Yes Origin not EA killed Ultima Richard Garriott, Warren Specter and others have admitted they screwed up. Ultima 8 for example was all Richard, he was the one who cut corners and pushed the staff to get the game done it was his idea to have that awful platforming, the combat system and all that the only thing EA did was give them a extention to get the game done.

Now I will admit EA screwed up the early part of Ultima IX's development by yanking everyone off to finish UO but Richard was the one who scrapped the project when they got back and decided to redo the game from the ground up, scrapping most of if not the majority of the stuff they originally had, scrapped numerous scripts including the generally considered better Bob White plot and went with that mess we got, yes what we saw in the final game, that was his script. So yeah if your going to blame anyone blame the right people or at least blame Origin and EA since they both screwed the pooch.

Yes yes yes, I know the story, had you watched the video you would have realized that I was making fun of the nerd rage that Ultima fans feel for EA.

Oh, well my bad then I'm just so used to seeing people posting links to Spoony ranting about how EA killed Ultima and/or bitching about how EA did the series in despite taking the time to read up on what happened.

All is forgiven, as a dedicated Ultima fan, I embrace the virtues. However, that may mean that I have to defend my honour with compassionate valour in a humble and um...spiritual way.

Well I suppose the complexities of PC dynamics at the turn of the century doesn't make for a good angry rant.

I liked the video Ninjorp. It was short, funny, and had a good message on how we can support the kind of games we love. We are at a point where there really seems to be something for everyone in gaming.

Hah! The Mad King indeed. Though his fingernails are considerably shorter. Would have done well with some music behind it, just coming from a video maker's perspective. Well written and presented though!
