I am a first time player of Ultima 7, so I'm not very fluent in it, I had some problems, and half my party died, I got back the bodies to lord British and ressurected them, but I forgot to ask Lolo to join, now I can't find him anywhere, not in Trinsic and not in Britain, to make matters worse, he had my the map, so I really need to find him, can somebody clue me in, as to where is whereabouts would be in this circumstances?

Well, I was able to solve that. but now I got to Penumbra's house, and followed the instructions on the panel to open the door, it disappears, but the door still doesn't open...

Can nobody help me with this?

I assume you've tried to double-click the door as well and it's still locked? If so, I have no clue. I've done a search for a bug like that but I haven't found anything.

Thanks for the response, yes I tried everything, I even went to pick up the Blackstones that is needed to restore Penumbra after the whole door ordeal is sort out, but no luck though...

According to that walkthrough on GameFAQs a key is supposed to appear. Did that happen?
I can't remember if I did do this puzzle when I played Ultima 7, still have to complete it and I haven't played it for about 6 years. I'll look into my written "quest log" when I'll be home from work.

Ok, so I was able to solve everything, thanks for the help everyone. And for the remote chance that someone is as noobie as me in U7, Lolo went back to Yew so that's where I found him and at the entrance of Penumbra's house, when you drop everything that's needed, a key does show up and you need to pick it up to your inventory and open the door.

Sorry to have to correct you, but he is called Iolo not Lolo. With an "i" at the beginning.
Although Lolo from Adventures of Lolo and various Kirby games would be really something different as a party member.

Now I'm picturing the Adventures of Lolo music looping non-stop as the background music for Ultima VII.
