I just started a new Let's Play of this game. I haven't played it before.

I did not expect anything as deep and long for a character creation (including conquest mode which is basically part of it). I went in thinking a 15min part, ended up with an hour. And you know what, it was fun.

Next episode (proper into the rpg of it) within a day.

I just uploaded the second video. First main quest.
So far I am impressed by the beauty of this game, in graphics and text. OMG so much text! lol
Well written, but, would it really be that more expensive to have voice actors reading it? My English suck!

I have fought a few battles so far, still not feeling completely comfortable with it, but I am getting there.
Not sure how I feel about the characters' models graphics. A bit...world of warcrafty, out of place compared to the environmental graphics IMO. Not ugly, just, different.

Third part is up but, I have to say, lack of voice for most of the text is getting annoying.
It would have been nice to have a voice reading all the text outside of dialogue. Which in turn would be nice to have voice too. Don't get me wrong, I get it, it would have been a lot of voice acting, but still...

So far I like the game a lot, never expected to not have a huge issue with non turn based RPG. I would still rather have it turn based, but that's just me I guess.

While the dialogue options are good, nice variety etc, so far it feels like some allies while they recognize who my character is (Trusteft the Pointy, authorized by Kyros the awesomeness), they tend to show lack of respect some times. They are lucky I am low level I guess lol.
I wonder if their behavior is because of the whole situation the world is in (shit), or the level of my character (low), or just they don't care.

I just uploaded the 4th part and this is going to be the last time I update this thread with that information.


I have to say I am impressed with the writing in this game. Lots of details, lots of options and funny.
This part was without any battle (by choice) and I still had more fun than other RPGs with battles.

Unfortunately I can't say I am surprised as a fan of Obsidian and their people.

I just uploaded part 11. The whole video is nothing but dialogue. Almost an hour worth.
and....I am having fun.
This game is seriously good with very fun dialogue. I am obviously not far enough in the game to write a review, but if anyone is considering getting this and wants a good story, GET IT.
