When trying to launch the game through the UI or terminal nothing happens.

Terminal gives this response:

./start.sh
Running Tyranny
./Tyranny: error while loading shared libraries: libXcursor.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

EDIT: Solution is to install lib32-libxcursor

thank you very much!

edit: now I'm just waiting for my 223 updates..... it's been a while since I launch my debian..

edit: OK, the game finally lauch, after installing libxcursor1:i386 and libXrandr.so.2 (on Debian). But I have no sound, and it's impossible to connect to paradox in game...

Something seems to be broken with the paradox accounts as of now. I can not create an account in game, but also not on their website.

In the game it says "invalid email address", the creation on the website times out.

EDIT:
I managed to get it working. There seems to be a problem in how the game handles the typed in address. Maybe the @ give it problems. When I typed the address in the box it failed, but when I copypasted it, it worked.
It's a known issue in the paradox-forums, seems to be caused by added special characters due to pressing tab.

I also made sure to move on to a newer Kernel - maybe that will fix your sound problems?

Yep, I did it, my system is up to date... the game launches but still no sound... I'm playing on Windows, sadness.

edit: OK, it seems that many people meet the same problems on Paradox forum.. I'll wait for a patch on linux.

Out of curiosity, why do you guys try to create a paradox account?

I do not try, I already have one, but cannot connect.
It gives you in games presents.

ah ok, thank you for your reply. Never cared for one of those things (create an account with us to get bonus things). I have an account with Paradox but don't care.
Thanks again for your reply.
Problem solved by @Orzo here:

https://www.gog.com/forum/tyranny/no_sound_on_xubuntu_16041/page1

Now everything works in Linux (Debian Sid):

apt-get install libxcursor1:i386

apt-get install libxrandr2:i386

apt-get install libpulse0:i386

Now I hope the next video-games from Paradox/Obsidian will always be in 64 bits....
