Running this game on my husbands windows (10). He knows the game play, I'm just learning it.

He is telling me that on one character he received the portable transporter(s) and can pick up and drop them but they do not transport the character.

On another character he has not even received the transporter(s).

What can I do to fix this problem he is having?

ETA: He has finished the quest on the one who has not been given the transporter.

Thanks dr.schliemann.

He has given the guy Magnisites and received 3 personal teleporters.
He can pickup/put down the teleporters but when he puts one down he cannot get it to teleport him.

He has to activate them before putting them down (i.e. he must go into his inventory, double click on the stone and drop it).

Thank you for sticking with me. I went an told him and he will do that.
It has been years since he was able to play this game (his fav) so I'm sure there is some things he has forgotten.
