Is anyone able to get to the TopWare forums? I'm trying to read them while troubleshooting and also reach them to download the Two Worlds Control Panel, but every time I try to access them it kicks me back to their homepage.

I've tried from two computers and from Opera and FF browsers, I'm about ready to email their webmaster but I would like to know if anyone else is having the same problem.

DNS entries all point to the same IP, which may be normal. Regardless, configuration problem on their end.
Well, shit...

I've also been looking to download the Two Worlds Control Panel, but can't seem to find it. Even PCGamingWiki links to the Inside Two Worlds page, which is unreachable. I'd really appreciate it if someone found a working download link for the TWCP or maybe uploaded the mod itself.
I can help with that, I found it after much searching. It's crippled as a mod installer since it basically used the now defunct site to pull information from but can still be used for some troubleshooting and advanced graphics settings.

Also, after installation you'll want to copy the cdb_100.xml file from the installation directory to your %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\TwoWorldsCP directory and restart the program.

Thank you very much for the working link, Red_Frog. The Control Panel seems like a decent piece of software. It's just a shame that the modding aspect of it is no longer functional.

Thank you! I was looking for this.
No problem! I agree, completely. I just bought the game and discovered the single most useful resource, whatever the TopWare forums/repository was, evidently got killed only a week ago.

I'm miffed, but still having a lot of fun with the game. It's better than the reviews give it credit for, monotone voice acting notwithstanding.

thankfully I downloaded the control panel a while ago, when I bought the game, but I only started playing 2 days ago (and enjoying it very much, glad I bought it anyway after finding the demo disappointing). the problem isn't even that it can't find my installed game and wants to edit the registry (so I just made a custom config file to adjust drawing distance and such), but that I basically never mod games and this once I wanted to add the extra monster info because the non-numerical health bar is useless, I can't because mods are nowhere to be found. tried the nexus, moddb and google in general, but nope. it'd be great if someone had them and could upload the necessary files somewhere.
I do wish I could help with that, in truth it was difficult enough to locate that TWCP download. I've done some searching but I haven't been able to locate any of the mods that were supposed to be available through the TopWare site.

If we're lucky we users might be able to make a plea to TopWare asking them to archive these things if they haven't yet been destroyed, but I've been busy and haven't had a chance to investigate further.
I tried the wayback machine to browse the archived forums at least, but it wasn't very fruitful. there's this german forum I found though, maybe the community there will be able to put together some stuff.
Where are you supposed to install this to? It says I dont have two worlds installed. I gave it its own folder in the two worlds folder. I put it straight into the two worlds folder too, still couldnt find the game. It says it wants to "repair" my registry. So i removed it.

same thing happened to me with the steam-installed version (I have it on gog and retail too, but didn't want to bother with reinstalling). I think it doesn't like it if the game's installed in its default place (program files), but it's not an issue with gog/steam. I've read that you have to put cdb_100.xml from the cp install folder to users\username\appdata\roaming\twoworldscp, but it didn't do anything for me.

mods are dead though, and you can make a config file yourself with console commands to tweak the graphics, so the only thing the cp is good for now is to enable controller support, I think.
Well im not letting some third party app for improving a game from gog edit my registry. I moved the file too and it still couldnt find the game. Seems like its broken.
the only mod you need to have is Worldmerge - basicaly the ultimate mod compilation for Two Worlds 2

in case it cannot be found elsewhere
