All right i just started this game. And i know this may not be one of the best made (or even properly made :p) rpgs, given that most of the game, as even the devs confess, remains incomplete. But its a game u can play when u sometimes, or should i say in rare cases, get bored of playing the 'better and more popular' rpgs like the elder scrolls series or dragon age or mass effect. Honestly i switched to playing two worlds after beating morrowind (the main quest actually). It also may not seem anything like the gothic series but it kind of reminded me of the time i played gothic 3.So basically, though cliched, it can be fun.

So back to my question.I know i may be asking too much lol, but whats the best aspect about this game?I personally liked the alchemy. I love how u can collect ingredients from anywhere and almost anything and tinker and experiment with them to create potions and stuff.I found it even better than that in morrowind because of its simplicity and ease. But i'm disappointed there are no skills for improving alchemy :(

Best thing about the original Two Worlds is definitely the fact that's an incredibly pretty Diablo with completely open world, which is quite rare even for RPGs - and it's got quite a few of its own ideas thrown in for a good measure, like magic system, or alchemy that you have mentioned. And the 'so-bad-it's-funny' dialogue certainly helps too :D
I liked the variety of the environments and the open world.
Yeah..being open world is also one of the better aspects and I totally have a knack for open world rpgs. But i wish they'd made the terrain and landscape more easy to cover :D. There are many places u can't reach and have to find a way around, and its often very long.
I think the terrain is very fast to cover with a horse. Too bad they're kinda helpless with steeper hills. As long as you stay on roads, you're good.

So far i had come across only one horse in a small grom camp but accidentally scared it away while fighting the groms with magic! It somehow calmed down only to stop farther away on a very steep hill between some trees. I can mount it but there's no way i can ride it now as its impossible to come out of the cluster of trees around us :D. Anyway, guess i'll have to complete this one quest where u get rewarded with a horse. Maybe then i can comment on horse riding.

But i don't like the fact that you can sometimes face really tough enemies right from the beginning of the game. Makes u cautious about approaching groups of them. But i guess thats how u learn about survival in the game world.

You can call the horse to you as long as you are in the vicinity of it. That really helps if it's stuck somewhere, like in your case.

Yeah i guess..but still don't know if the horse could make it out of there :D...anyways its worth a try.
I think the magic system is the best part of the game. I am really hoping that Two Worlds III would focus more on the magic system, to make it possible to do all kinds of weird things. For example, creating a Moonjump Spell that allows the player to jump multiple times in the air, changing into a puddle of water to pass through bars, and so on.

Ditching the armor and weapon system in favor of 'wearing' enchantments based on the character's magic would be awesome in my opinion.

Hmm u mean like creating ur own spells and enchantments.Yes, that would be great too! I hope they extend the awesome alchemy system to magic too.Changing into water to get to certain locations sounds nice but its highly advanced. So they'll really have to work and tweak up the magic system if u want something like that in TW3.Currently in two worlds, i have a lot of fun creating potions, traps and damage enchantments!
I like lots about it. I already mentioned before what I like about it, so I'm not going to go into detail again and again.

But something great about Two Worlds that not many mention or bring up, is the music. It doesn't have the soundtrack here on this internet shop, and that's a shame. It's a great soundtrack, done by the guy that did the Beverly Hills Cop theme... so you know what to expect from some of it ;). Some of it is very 1980 ties. Has a few remixes of it too.

And that's about what I like about it, it has a lot of olde school stuff to the gameplay, including some of the music.

The tracks are also available on YouTube, for those who care to dig around a bit. At least for a first impression YT is sufficient. If you like the music, I suggest to actually buy it (the album is also available as used copy).
I also liked the lore and quests. The quests were varied and some were beyond my expectations and were quite well done. But the one thing i noticed here is that some quests are bugged even though its the latest version of the game. Got this one quest bugged up and now its stuck in my quest log :(

Hm, I finished the game and never encountered a bugged quest. Which is the quest that you can't finish, did you check the strategy guide that comes with the gog version or some other online guide?
